I am no cigar afficionado (my co-workers just introduced me to this world a few months ago) but yesterday, we decided to check out a place called Hot Spot (yes, I know, sounds like a peeler bar) Hot Spot Cigars, Inc. - Cigars, Coffee & Internet
in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

The place looks a little, well, weird, on the outside (it's a supersized mobile home type thing) but once inside.. WHOAH. It's really nice inside! Full on walk-in humidor. All the major (and minor) brands represented. The only other cigar shoppe that I've seen rival them (with respect to the size of the humidor and the selection of brands), is Cordova Cigars in Pensacola: MySpace.com - Cordova Cigars (Robbie) - 24 - Male - Pensacola, Florida - www.myspace.com/robbiepcola

Had a really nice 45 min Montecristo WHITE, and it was SOO SMOOTH. The staff is super friendly, and the frappucino I had to accompany my cigar was excellent. Normally, I'd have had a Dalmore single malt scotch, but this was in the middle of the day.

They had a large lounge area, w. nice furnishings, and televisions to hang out. Really a nice 'n relaxed atmosphere. They also have three powerful ventilation systems (Honeywell I think) so the cigar smoke doesn't inffuse into your clothing and you don't smell like an ashtray the rest of the day.

I had visited a great place in Fort Walton Beach, FL, that everybody should check out. It is the only cigar store where females do not feel intimidated, I was even able to hang out in their nice lounge while sipping a delicious cuban espresso. I finally felt like I belonged to a cigar lounge!!. This has been the only store in the area that had treated me like a truly "Cigar Aficionada"

After I was done with my cigar I had a relaxing message in one of their chairs, after that, I was ready to hit the town.

The staff told me that the original building was an Ice Manufacturing Company and the owners decided to keep the main structure, probably that is the reason why for some people the buiding look different from the outside .... I personally believed that the place look great !!!

If you are a "Cigar Aficionado" or even a coffee lover looking for a nice, clean place to relax, you must stop by the HOT SPOT in Fort Walton Beach. That is the place to go !!!
