Government employees are much more educated than non-government. They make more on average because they are generally smarter and more accomplished. Pretty simple.

I would have to disagree with that.

I dont think most government employees are over paid, I think most people just need to find a reason to complain about something. They are like that with everything, people see my company throwing a big christmas party and get mad "no wonder my bill is so high". Little do you know our hourly wages arent that great and we bust our butts to please you people. Let us enjoy our one night a year to actually have a lot of fun!

Studies in Wisconsin on the issue showed public employees had more education when they were going through their big debates on the topic.
