Default Relocating to Putnam County
I am moving from Texas to Florida in a month or so. I will be living in Putnam County. I am looking for houses/mobile homes to rent in the Interlachen area. I know the area well and the internet is not much help trying to find something. If anyone knows of atleast a 3 bedroom anything, please drop me a line. My house here in Texas just went under contract and I'd like to have something lined up before me and my kids get there! Help!!

You might try Craig's List. The closest list is for Gainesville but they did have a listing in Interlachen that sounds nice (not sure what price range you're interested in). The website is NEW SKYLINE 1440 SQFT DWMH WITH LAND (broken link). Also, if you go the Palatka Daily News website, check the classifieds as well as the downloadable real estate magazine.

We are planning on moving out west next year, but for now we live on the other side of Putnam county from Interlachen but if I can answer any questions, I'd be glad to. I know it's hard to shop for a place to live long distance. Good luck to you

Just re-read your post. Sorry for sending you sales information. You might try the same two sources for rental information though. There are usually quite a few rentals listed in the Palatka Daily News as well as Craigs List. We have noted that rentals on mobile homes in the area usually average between 475-650 on the average.
