My mistake, my high functioning child (who as far as we know is not autistic but has neurological issues and learning disabilities ) DOES like school. But when I saw how much progress I was making with the other child I started thinking how great it will be if I could do that with her sister.

I thought you were talking about the one that I do home school. Guess I did not read your post very well. She is the one who was doing all the self injurous behavior- and that has all stopped.
