There is great incentive for getting a degree in a field in demand, it is called a job.

I will never understand people who go not only to UG, but to grad school in these fields that have little to no demand.

I feel many of these degrees exist to make people feel better, so they can just coast through college taking some easy courses, get a degree, and mark it they have a degree. This is my biggest criticism of the hype around more women now earn degrees than men, because look at the BS degrees many of them get, leave out education and those wanting to go to law school, seems like there would not be hardly any females left at college.

I am not sure if this is the case. When I studied Biochemistry 15 years ago there were as many or more women in my classes than men-and after work in the tech field as a lab person-many of my work places had more women than men. Including PhD's.

Solantic headquarters moving to Nashville - The Financial News & Daily Record - Jacksonville, Florida

The headquarters for Solantic Corp., the urgent-care medical chain co-founded by Gov. Rick Scott and recently sold to an investment group, will move from Jacksonville to Nashville by the end of the year.

Spoksewoman Mandy Villalva said Tuesday that Solantic is taking part of the executive team to start its Nashville presence and will complete the move by the end of December.

So much for keeping jobs in Florida, eh?

I couldn't agree more!! Florida has more registered Democrats than Republicans however the enthusiasm gap works in favor of the vocal minority.
