I'll be working the festival in October and I have no idea where to stay & need to get this arranged ASAP!

What are the names of towns near Live Oaks? The three closet motels are already booked.

I'm looking for a 10-20 mile locale....

Please Help!

You should try a motel called Parker's located right within the Live Oak city limits. Not the best option but you would not be far from the Suwanne music park. The nearest small town to the north of Live Oak is Madison and the nearest to the south is Wellborn. Lake City is about 20 miles. Also you might try small towns like Jasper,White Springs, and Mayo that are close to Live Oak.

"We're not travel agents. That's another forum." That's the response I got when I was looking for a place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale for a wedding, with the exception of one helpful person. Like you, I was looking for a "local" to recommend something. Wish I could help, but I haven't been to Lake City in a dog's age....And what might look good online might be horrible in reality! Good Luck!

Right on! Thanks to the other poster as well! I've found some vacancies in Lake City .... 20 miles from the event...I may book a room & camp, combined. I have a 4Runner & we've slept in the back before but I would like to be "soapy clean" at least for one 24 hour period!
