The smart one's had already jumped ship I'm sure. The rest, just hanging on.
Only the incumbent local exchange carriers & cable guys can make any moolah on broadband, portals, and netcast/narrowcast/wireline entertainment. The days of the pure ISP whois leasing lines, then trying to aggregate customers on those lines for a profit were numbered a loooong time ago.

Long live the memory of Mindspring!!! THOSE were the DAYS!
