I think of him no different than any other person in the world. He does his job, others do theirs, that is it. I do not know him personally, so it is not like he elevated to some higher level in my life because he plays a game.

I just wonder why all the hype around him, in a negative way. Goodness, the guy so far is not a thug or nothing, yet many people are criticizing him for his religious views, yet much less is heard about all the criminal thugs. It is like it is much cooler with many sports fan to be a criminal than be a perceived good boy, and a religious one.

Some people just love to hate!

Many people just like to hate someone who is a better person than they are. Makes then feel crappy.

We've been over this already. You were older/single/miserable in Gainesville. All your friends are stuck there.

What is there not to like about Tim Tebow?

Down here in South Florida it was a lot of fun to watch him at Univ of Florida----his style has not changed since he went to Denver. He was a selfless kid who always put it all on the line. He always played hard, sacrificed his body, and never showed one ounce of quit or moping.

Yes, some people question the religious nature of his emotions----but would you rather see players doing 25 second dances, orchestrated and disingenous celebrating, or rather a decent kid taking 5-10 seconds to just have a moment showing thanks?

I also am Jewish, and Tebows few seconds of thanks and relections do not bother me at all.

His future as an nfl qb is still a work in progress and open to debate----his development as a solid and decent person in not a work in progress---he is there.
