Default Chattahoochee anyone??

Looks like I'll be accepting a job in Quincy just west of Tallahassee. I've heard Tallahassee is a great place to live but I don't really want to be in a city and the whole college thing doesn't appeal to me either. I'm looking for something out in the country with a "southern" feel to it and I know that pretty much describes the whole area but I haven't been able to find anything on Chattahoochee. Anybody??

Thanks

I think there is mental institution there. When I was a kid we always said, "You belong in Chattahoochee".

hehehe - I remember that - we would say that, too! And that's all I know about the place with the funny-sounding name!

Good Day! I'd also like to know more about Chattahoochee. Is housing plentiful? What about things to do in 'nature' (hiking, boating, etc.); volunteer oportunities (Lions, Red Cross, Salvation Army)?
THANKS for your time!
