Just moved to Key West. My question is...is there a local tv station with a local newscast for the Keys and Key West? Thanks

I do not live in the keys but from what I know I am pretty sure you just get the Miami news stations. If there is big news in the keys the Miami stations will cover it. Just like the Miami stations also serve the Bahamas also. Big news in the Bahamas often gets reported by the Miami news stations also.

Thanks Fly! I have read where Key West and the southern Keys gripe about lack of local coverage over the Miami news outlets, but that's the market covering the keys..

Yea, its going to have to be pretty big news for the Miami stations to send someone down there. But for weather they do cover the keys well.

No TV stations in the Keys, just a few radio stations. Reception from Miami is pretty weak. Most have cable TV or satellite. I had a big dish and a homemade reflector antenna that used to work with the translator towers, but that went away years ago. I was getting channel 4 and 6 and some Spanish stations but that was it.
