Local newspaper classifieds. Career Builders just posts what has been already been printed in the papers. Most papers are now online. Check the ads on the site. They update daily.

When I opened up the Bradenton Herald last night, there were barely 1/4 page of jobs advertised...Now I know it was a Wednesday paper but I've never seen it that small....today's Sarasota Herald tribune, not much better....I hope everyone that needs to work who's moving to our area has a job lined up because it's not looking good by the classifieds.....(1) Office job, (1) part time job, (1) sales related, (6) hospitality positions, no construction, (15) general employment....and usually Thursday ads are rocking.  |

I wish you the best. Many times here in FL they do things way out of the ordinary, not very professionally either. Maybe you're idea could help the state save money (wasted tax dollars) instead of having you go through all the BS, bring up the idea of the 2 week refresher course which will save alot of time. FL definitely could take some ideas from other states. I'm sure you will do just fine though.
