Question Holly Hill FL?

Hi, could anyone tell me anything about Holly Hill?
I rencently graduated college and have a career in the healthcare field.
Are there any affordable homes in the area (300k or less) that have 2-3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms?
How is the crime? traffic? atmosphere in general?
Would this be a good place to raise a family?
I am not so much concerned with any kind of nightlife, but is Holly Hill isolated from everything?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Holly Hill is not a place I would recommend for you. It's a low income, very run down, high crime town. From what you've said, I don't think you would be happy there. And it's absolutely not isolated.

Look at Ormond Beach- it's the next town over and it's more upscale, much safer, better schools- you should have no problem finding a home in your price range.

If you're interested in being isolated from the busier areas of town, look into Breakaway Trails Subdivision or other areas west of I-95. And in the north part of Ormond Beach there is an area called Ormond Lakes and another called Halifax Plantation.

If you will be working at either Halifax or Florida Hospital Ormond, you will be within 20 minutes of each hospital.

Contact a local realtor- and by all means, visit the area.

Other areas convenient to the Ormond/Holly Hill vicinity include

Port Orange- About 25-30 minutes drive.

Palm Coast/Flagler County- A 20 minute drive- much lower taxes and definitely out of the way- but still on the coast. You could get a brand new, already built home with a pool in this area for under $300K.

I've lived in this area for almost 10 years. If you have any other questions, feel free to post or send me a direct message.

I agree with PirateGirl. Holly Hill is run down, very transient with many people living in small motels, US 1 (the main drag) KNOWN for it's, shall we say, red light district. Ladies of the night working the road 24/7, lots of adult establishments, drugs.
Try the towns she suggested-much nicer living.
