I live and work in SummerGlen Community in Ocala. We are an resident owned, active adult, gated community. Block homes here start in the mid 140's. We are NOT a CDD. The equity members own the golf course. No closing cost and a price promise. Only 1029 homes, very intimate. 20-30 minutes from The Villages. Restaurant, pro shop, pool,residents club, activities etc.

My husband and I visited The Villages a year ago for 1 week and LOVED it - but are interested to know if there is anything like this anyplace else in US as we are not 100% sold on Florida. ( I don't mean nice little place similar - but a large community that would be a mirror image.)novgal49

^^^I think out in Arizonia Sun Cities or in California they have some that are similar, not as large a The Villages though.
