Default Golfing In Winter

Can anyone suggest a well-conditioned private or semi-private course that I can play in the Treasure Coast area during the winter months?

Default googling is my life

You can find these things by typing a few words of the subject you are trying to find and it will bring up tons of choices. Then start weeding them out by greens fees (usually the nicer places are high). Go with what you can afford, tee off times and proximity to where you are located... enjoy

I'm not a golfer, so I can't comment on well-conditioned, except that I'm not aware of any courses on the Treasure Coast in bad condition. There are dozens of courses, at all levels, in all price ranges.

Since you are in Fort Pierce, I might sugget you go to St. Lucie County's public course, Fairwinds, a little north of town. Talk to the folks in the pro shop, let them know what you'd like to experience, I'm sure they would have recommendations. You could do the same in almost any pro shop that is near to you; I only suggested Fairwinds because you inicated Fort Pierce.

I Googled "St. Lucie golf" and the first reference was a friendly description of local courses. You could so the same with Martin and Indian River counties, I'm sure.

By the way, the reference I looked at had this to say about Fairwinds:
"In 2004 Golf Digest ranked Fairwinds as the second "Best Place to Play" and rated it as a "4 1/2 Star" course."
