There are a half dozen more if you look, some are into, out of then back in to and some are just out and then back in but more than enough to get you answers.

I moved to FL from Maryland suburbs of DC for 9 years here, left, then came back less than a year ago.

House prices are better now for sure. I never believed in housing run up, sorry it hurt so many but it just wasn't real unfortunately many honest hard working people paying a price on this.

Jobs are tough here now, we are having a harder go of it the second time, but time will tell.

What info are you seeking, are you thinking of coming back or?

I left then came back, it was less expensive, less crowded and nicer in my opinion the 1st time, when I came back things changed for the worse, sprawl and excess exists. I wasn't gone that long a couple of years, and flew down in between and saw things changing.

I'm speaking in reference to where I live currently, I moved back to the same area I lived before. A lot of friends left due to the job market, they really struggled to make ends meet.

I moved to South Florida with my parents in the Early 1990 when I was 10. We moved back to Indiana in 1995. 16 years later I moved to North Florida from Alaska with my wife and kids. Totally different in North Florida and I love it.

I moved to Orlando in 2009 right out of college and worked at Walt Disney World. I only lasted a year down there due to a bad job market and moved back home to CT towards the end of 2010. I haven't moved back to FL but I do hope to one day.

Kinda , although I was born here....this place sucks. Moved away and back 3 times. In the last year 4 of my neighbors have left for greener pastures. The heat, the police state, no rain for 3 months at a time, no seasons, there's got to be a better life.

In a few days, I'll be moving back for the fourth time. That sound kind of ridiculous, even to me, but I always seem to be called back. Even though I grew up in NJ, I consider Florida home. Specifically, St. Augustine.

Unfortunately, this time I'll be in Winter Garden. Who knows? Maybe I'll like it. But, it's hard for most places to hold a candle to St. Augustine, IMO. What surprises me, is how little St. Aug changes through the years. It's like a little bubble of preservation in the middle of unending sprawl.

I'll have to post at a later date about what I think of Florida this time around.
