It was gorgeous here in beautiful Lakeland today - clear blue sky, low humidity, and a strong cool breeze all day - loved it! We are coming into a nice time of year here in Central and north Florida - glad I don't live in SW Fla. anymore.

As I applaud anyone who has the sense to realize what a dump SW FL truly is; I must admit today was unusually nice; probably due to that breeze. Went outside & actually didn't feel the need to get in the shade or ac within 5minutes. The humidity was also very low here...SOOO appreciate that! Nothing compensates for what I am use to re: autumn weather, but today's weather in SW FL was not too shabby. Probably the first day since June that I didn't curse the sun

My daughter went to college there and we spent many a weekend during her hockey season. I loved it there.
She now is back living in NY. I told her months ago I want her to send me a bag of leaves from the backyard.
Not kidding. I plan to put them in bowls around the house.
