Viewing Property in Florida?
I am flying to Orlando Wednesday to view properties, and will be staying in Kissimmee for 1 week.
Can anyone recommend local sources of information, Real Estate agents, or online house sales. The original house I was travelling to see has been sold yesterday.
I am interested in properties in Orlando area, East Coast or West Coast, perhaps even Fort Lauderdale/Miami
Thanks.
Mike

The Orlando area is very spread out. Do you know what part of town you are interested in viewing?

what part of Kissimee are you going to be staying in....there is the actual city then there is the tourist area......i just ask because last time someone said they came here for a 4 day visit and stayeD iN orlando and thought everything looked good....and come to find out that they were in a tourist area......well anyways.......I have lived in both areas and my heart is in Miami but Orlando is a better enviroment to live with a family in the nicer areas..

Iam staying at a hotel on the 192 near to the Turnpike.
Cheap and cheerful, close to good road links.
I'm on my own so I can please myself
First stop, 'Chequers' Old Town for some Chilly cheese fries!
Yep I know the tourist area, been coming since 91

you might want to rethink orlando as they are having a lot of trouble with crime and will be assuming a lot of debt with the 3 stadiums being built. you could possibly consider viera (very nice and more to do) or sebastian (very safe but less to do). melbourne would kind of be in the middle.

Seriously...Sarasota is on the west coast and considered to be the "Cultural
Capital" of Florida..colleges, art, museums, beaches, shopping, resturants
and shopping!
