So here are my hopes someone tell me the best place to go.
I have a young daughter and want good schools
From San Diego and want similar weather (which I think is everywhere)
I am a hair stylist and want somewhere that I can thrive
Small to Med city to live in
My husband wants to be within a few hours of Lake Okeechobee

So where is my perfect town?
Thanks

I say Braselton, GA 1 hour North of Atlanta. We will be moving there from Virginia Beach this summer.

Sebring sounds like exactly what you're looking for.

You might want to look into the Port Saint Lucie area. Nice area & growing community. Not too long of a ride to Lake O. either..

Happy Hunting..

You might try Jacksonville. We have lived here for the past 7 years and loved it here. You should see our new St johns town center (take the new 9A). When finding a home, choose Mandarin area, St Johns, Ponte Vedra. There are new constructions on Bartram area.. really nice place to live. I commute to downtown for only 15 min (I 95).. Side streets are accomodating too. Our beautiful business areas are in Butler Blvd., Ponte Vedra and downtown area. We love the climate here.. living in North Florida, you can still enjoy your fire place. Summer is humid. But Spring and Fall, verfy much California.

Well I can tell you...anywhere you move in Florida, by far the temperature is going to surpase San Diego by more than 10 degrees all the time. I would recommend Tampa.

West Coast is always more humid & hotter than the East Coast.

Hey, look into Pembroke Pines and Miramar Florida. Nice homes and schools.
