I am currently looking for home owners insurance. I have already received a quote from my Auto and former home owners insurance but I would like to have something to compare it too.

Does anyone have a name and phone number of an insurance broker around Fort Myers, FL. I know that I can call Citizens and some others but from reading on this site it might be easier to contact a broker to do a comparison. I am understanding this correctly. I have just moved here and still need to find my way and I am not sure of who to call that is not sleazy.

One way to go is to look up reputable insurance companies and seeing who they recommend on their sites for brokers.

You could look up: Liberty Mutual, USAA, Chubb, etc. - pick whatever insurance companies you want and find the broker from there (the brokers will usually sell multiple insurance companies). The good companies don't let just anyone sell their policies.

Just a thought until someone comes along and gives you a Ft. Myers recommendation .
