Default Speaking of weather...

...is it any cooler on the Gulf Coast than in Orlando?

I'm considering a move to SW FL and having once lived in Orlando (and somehow surviving the heat) figure I can handle a place like Englewood.

But is there any consistent, significant difference in average temps?

Traditional inland Florida is hotter than coast Florida. And inland Florida is cooler in the winter than coastal Florida.
