Cost wise you should make out okay now that we have had the housing bust down here. But Ft Pierce won't have the kind of opportunities you have in the Houston market either so make sure the small town lifestyle is for you as well as that the job prospect is long term and solid unless you are flexible to relocate yet again or commute a very long distance on I-95. Ft Pierce is also a much smaller market than Ft Myers.
