The Tallahassee area. Lot's of open land, reasonable prices and friendly people. You'd love it.

I didn't see an answer regarding Clermont and Davenport. We are planning on renting a condo in the Village at Town Center in Davenport for our daughter to reside in for 6 months. Can anyone tell me about the area? My biggest concern is for her safety. Is that particular condo development in a safe enough area for a young lady to reside without getting mugged or raped?
Need info as soon as possible. Planning on sending in a deposit within the next day or two.
Thanks all!

Coincidentally, every real estate agent on this site knows a town that fits your specifications exactly.

NPDMOM, go to Sperlings Best Places. They won't give you current info, but some of the most recent that I can find on the internet. They'll let you do a comparison and crime rates is one of the things they'll tell you.

Stuart/Jensen area is awesome. Beautiful-good A rated schools, beautiful beaches, excellent restaraunts in the downtown areas, short drivef to WPB-who could ask for more? Would come back in a minute if I could find affordable housing-specifically in the Jensen Beach area, currently in eastern NC-6 mths now and can't wait to leave. School system is awful here-miss Martin Cty. Lower cost of living here but not worth it, when I think about my son & this awful backwards school he's in-i really feel like I've let him down. Any thoughts on how this single mom and her son can make it back to Jensen Beach-would even consider splitting costs with another single parent. thanks for any advice.

Please don't post that you are from Long Island when you are going to make such an offensive comment! It just makes people think even worse of us long islanders that aren't ignorant! If you want to tell people to stay away from the area, just say that - you don't have to generalize with such a statement. It is rude and offensive! I case you are wondering, I am not Puerto Rican and yes, I have been to Kissimmee (sp?).

Where is it cheap, low crime quiet and pretty?
It's called dreaming. Just close your eyes, doze off and it's there. If you want to experience it while awake ou need to build a time machine, and set it for 1955. Florida was worth it them, or so I have heard.
