If you believe anything Al Gore tells you then I have an island off the coast of Lake Erie to sell you because he thinks the glaciers are coming back too.....................
Al got to another one. Remember people like him make a living scaring you. If anyone is leaving Florida for that reason it is a benefit to you people who live there, why? Because you need to rid yourself of people who are whacko for believing this nutcase.

That reason doesn't even seem to come up when people say why they've left Fla. If you read on other state forums, there seem to always be the same reasons given by most and that's not one of them. It's more like high taxes, high insurance, expensive housing, low paying jobs, overcrowding, bad traffic, third world invasion, etc.

Yes. Scientists say that they feel between now and then we will have figured out some way to deal with it. They likened it to asking Columbus how to fix the Hubbell telescope. Our scientists don't have a clue but 500 years of science will. There is also supposed to be a close call in about 20 years coming if I remember right within 100 thousand miles. Thats less then half the distance to the moon and should be a pretty scary show.
Is a Large Asteroid Headed for Impact With Earth in 2880?
