Search the threads here for sebring, we have been here 10 years, vacationed here since birth. Not much to do, the race track, fly ins at the airport.... down town events, highlands hammock etc. We are very close to both coasts and all the tourist traps so it is an ideal location to be here yet not in the thick of it.

One thing that sparked my interest was a military museum...but I never did get to go.

Things to do, well let's start with all of the fresh water lakes, fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming, and all that implies, then the Highlands Hammock State Park, hiking and camping, the downtown circle on the second saturday of every month has a satuday night cruise, you can wake up really early one morning and drive east watch the sun rise and take a dip in the Atlantic ocean, casually drive west have lunch at home, then continue to drive west and watch the sunset on the Gulf Coast, where else in the world can you do that? There is soooo much to do and it is right here in the heart of florida.
