Good luck with your move.
I asked to not discuss Texas on this thread, but focus on Florida.

I also answered this question previously. I guess you must have missed that.

Thanks for the wishes. My family is really looking forward to the move.

Just wish someone could share something about the cities.

I am contacting a realtor in regards to finding housing that meets our needs. So we have that covered. Anyone ever swim at Siesta or visit the neighborhood farmers market?

What Florida town do you reside in?

I don't think people are gonna stop asking:

San Antonio

Sometimes people just ask these questions because they get an idea of what the OP is NOT looking for.

No, just thought it was ignorant for someone to say they didn't care for a "state" that spans 900 miles East/West and 900 miles North/South based on living in one city.

Even I can claim a love for Tampa and Tallahassee in such a miserable state like Florida, and it's only a max of 368 miles East/West and 530 miles North/South (including the keys)

I was only interested to see which city the OP lived in and didn't care for.

Hey, TX, I was just joking with my comment, wasn't really singling you out! But yeah, we hear stuff like that all the time, whether it's FL or TX or CA or anywhere people are talking about. Broad-brush statements are always being made here on these forums.

I agree, and I wasn't trying to suggest TX to someone that doesn't want to be here, I was just curious as to which part they left.

Wait: you pay $40-100k in state income taxes?

That means your gross income is between $300k and $750k a year. Yet, your rental budget is $1200-1500/mo.?

You were able to rent a place for less than $1500 in California?

Smells fishy.
