Hello City Data community,

I'm moving back to Florida and I'm considering checking out Hernando and Pasco Counties. I noticed that Hernando and Pasco counties are considered both part of the Tampa metro area and the Nature Coast. So are these counties a mixture of preserved nature and suburbs?
I'm more of a suburb/rural girl. I visited Tampa and the area in general wasn't a match for me.

Anyone familiar with Hernando and Pasco county and what they're like?

Thanks,
Ana

The Spring Lake area of Hernando County is a nice area. It's rural but not to far away from Brooksville which would have just about anything that you would need. Also the San Antonio area of Pasco County is some nice country.

We used to live in the Dade City/San Antonio area of Pasco. It is beautiful countryside there - very hilly, with lush pastures, woods and lakes. Western Pasco is not nice, you would want to stick to east Pasco.

Hernando is nice also, with hills, etc. You can look into Brooksville and the area Ken E. suggested.
