i am not so sure i would want to raise kids in many parts of florida. i can make my kids be well-behaved, well-mannered, good kids... but the number of sex offenders, whackos, and criminals that fill out state is maddening. i dont know what to do, really.

i am almost torn b/w moving back to nc/sc and staying in fla, and hopefully finding a good spot to raise kids and where my family will be happy. i was thinking st augustine, but i need good jobs available. i was also thinking vero bch, but, even though everyone seemed really friendly, i am worried that most ppl will be retired and the kids will be bored and even we may be bored. psl has me worried about the haitian situation. the other day, the paper said haitians were finding port st lucie to be a better place to live than boynton bch and lake worth. and i agree. but what is psl going to be like in 10 yrs if they keep moving there?

i also worry about the drivers that have filled our streets and bringing the rude/aggressive behavior on our roads. it didnt used to be like this. i dont know if i can handle the thought of my son/daughter driving on i-4 or the 408 the way ppl in orlando drive. talk about nervous.

anyway, thanks for reading. i am done for ranting & raving for now.lol.
