We just signed a contract in the Orlando area to build a home with Taylor Morrison. I've read on here that people have been successful with negotiating the prices at the design center for some of their builders. Anyone with Taylor Morrison ever do this, and if so, were you successful? We have our appointment on Wednesday. They gave us $13,000 to play with at the design center, but we are looking at over $60,000 in upgrades. I know that builders usually have significant markups on the upgrades (sometimes upwards of 100%). Any info would be great - thanks!!

Default did you buy?

My Wife and I really like a model in Lake Tamlin - it would not be inventory - did you ever close on your home - did you have luck negotiating some of the upgrades?

Anything is negotiable. Having dealt with builders for decades, get a good buyers rep. A good rep can help you negotiate the best concessions.
