do the schools provide speech? i would be happy to go to a doctor, just asking. i am covered to a certain point with benefits.
are they younger towns? a mix of age is fine for me. are the schools any good? i have concerns. im soon to be a single mom, and my best friend lives in dunnellon.....a move to florida is huge for me. i can finish school for a better job, but where are the jobs? ill need to work. do the schools provide any "extra" help? extra meaning different group levels for math/reading?
im reading so much about the crime and gangs....do you know where they are talking about? im looking for an all white neighborhood. no one should be mad that i said that. its just a question.

If a child is in need of speech then the school would be required by law to provide the speech services for him/her if it is deemed educationally relevent. You should know that whatever the school provides may not be enough and you may wish to seek additional therapy privately.

I would have to say that based on what I have observed most of them have a mixed age range. Beverly Hills seems to be mostly elderly people.I think the median age there is like 67. They seem like they are more family-orientated than Dunnellon. If you did decide to move there you could still see your friend in Dunnellon frequently as most places in Citrus county are no more than thirty minutes away unless you end up in Homosassa/Homosassa Springs or Floral City in which case you would be about forty-five-fifty minutes give or take.

As far as the all- white neighborhoods I really cannot offer much assistance there. I have heard that the schools are pretty good in general with kids who require services. One of the other posters on city data has a blind child in Citrus schools and she seems to be very happy with the services provided for her child.

thanks again. yes i agree on the additional speech outside of the school. if i do the move, im hoping to be as close as possible....to my friend. i guess im just worried and scared if things dont work out at a new school. although my daughter has speech issues, she is bright, and friendly, and doesnt usually have social issues.....where i live now, the taxes are extremely high, as are the housing costs....but i will say that the schools are the best. however im in a situation where i need to leave and i may not be able to visit there first due to circumstances. i can always try dunnellon and later move if i dont like it.....my thing is i dont want to keep moving my kids. they have been in one house/town since they were born....again, circumstances have changed....so basically i feel awkward. i had been to the area a long time ago, but not dunnellon....i believe moriston??? not sure....it was rural, with mixed beautiful acres of horse farms, then there would be a shack on the side of the road....and that was 15 years ago.
anyho.....the laid back appeal might do us all good. the development she was trying to find me a house is rainbow lake estates. do you know that section? well, i think you said you didnt have a good experience at romeo school. my friend says the school is good, and dunnellon is safe.? i guess i get mixed info from the internet i went on city data for the town info.

Dunnellon is awesome! It is family orientated and Romeo is a wonderful school that is consistantly graded A, my daughter loves it there. We are only 20 minutes from Ocala (from Lake Tropicana out 40), I used to work just beyond Airport Rd off 40 and it never took more that 20 minutes sometimes less. The community college is beautiful. We have a very nice mall in Ocala. Restaurant Alley (SR 200) offers almost anything you could ask for food wise. Yes there are old folks but that doesn't hinder Dunnellon's wonderful spirit. The civic association in Lake Tropicana is wonderful and we are currently trying to make it more family related. We have our First Saturday Festivles once a month. Christmas parade. We have Jazz Up Dunnellon. And of coarse Super Walmart! I work in Gainesville and it takes 50 minutes and is 48 miles each way. Well anyway that is my opinion of Dunnellon, I love it here!
