Want to hear from anyone who has moved to WC from SF area. How different is it? Would prefer to hear from family w/elementary and middle school kids. How do you compare living expenses? Etc....
Thank you in advance.

After 11 yrs we moved from San Diego to WC in 2004 and did not look back. This is the place we were looking for. Good environment. Good for the kids and the price of RE is still 15 yrs behind CA.

Kona, what's up with the perpetual advertisements for Wessly Chapple? Every one of your posts seems to plug Wessly Chapple. Are you a real estate agent selling houses in that area? Or have investment properties you are trying to sell over there?

Just currious.

I have been a RE agent since 99. I was an agent in San Diego and we moved here because we want to raise our three kids in a better environment. After an extensive year long search we found this gem. Since we moved here my parents (TX) and my wife's parents (IN) have also moved to the area. They see their grandkids all the time now and we really like where we live. I am a RE agent but my enthusiasm for the area is genuine.

I hate to see this site focus on the negative when I know the positive aspects are by far the majority.

I'm not a fan of Wesley Chapel, but I also like kona's honest reply and concede that what I like will not be what everyone else likes. Best of luck promoting Wesley Chapel, as it is much better than many other parts of the Bay area.
