Like, that's that.

Now during winter months, the further south u are the warmer the winters. So, I prefer Miami/Ft Lauderdale winters over Orlando/Tampa winters...
Exactly. If you're moving to FL, you move for the winter weather that suits you best. The summer is the same whether you're in Miami, Jacksonville, Destin, Orlando, etc.

Not really accurate, the weather is more brutal inland than it is near the water, most especially the Atlantic side.

Lots of good answers on this thread.

To the OP, it's Florida. In the summer it will be very hot and very humid with a chance of thunderstorms almost every day EVERYWHERE in the state.

Somewhere really close to beach. Whenever I got to any beach even if it is 90 degrees outside the second the wind blows I am freezing especially October-May.

I've been here a long time (45 years) I have lived in N. Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Deerfield Bch, Jacksonville(which really sucked weather wise) and now in West Palm Beach. The further inland you go it is hotter in summer and colder in winter, even here in Palm Beach County. The coastal areas(five miles or less inland) are always are cooler because of the breeze.

Probably the best comprise is Melbourne area, as someone already mentioned.

I always thought Vero Beach and Melbourne were "cooler" than Fort Myers and Bradenton when I lived there. Also either of those areas were much cooler than Orlando/Winter Park.

I think Key West has the best climate in Florida. Trade winds to keep you cool during summer, not as hot as the "mainland", plus, warmer winters. Even Miami gets those chilly days now and then, but while Key West gets cool for a few days, it's still warmer than Miami.
