Exactly.

Compare their weather to ours before and after the "heat wave"..........not during the "heat wave"

It's like me saying DURING A TROPICAL STORM.....that "Florida get's more rain than Seattle"

Northern states seem to be having these "heat waves" on a regular basis. And then there's those heavy snowfalls that practically close cities down during the winter.

I think the last TS that hit here kept me in the house for 8 hrs. And our "heat waves" aren't incapacitating - slightly inconvenient more than anything else.

I don't know about down there but it seems like where I am, the climate is changing ever so subtly. For the last 5 weeks, my phone has been blowing up first with flash flood advisories/alerts/warnings 2-3 times/day every day and it rolled right into 2 weeks solid of heat and air quality alerts and warnings. Our winter season seems to not know what month to start and end as we had a doozy in October last year and again in April (not the first in recent years). I've never seen so many tornado watches/alerts. So add that in to what we already experience up here, Florida, even with the months of hot weather down there, will be a blessing.

Actually there are not currently any heat waves declared here as we have been in our normal temperature range which is well below the heatwave up north, but I respect your right to believe there have been.

I know this is normal for Florida and we are not really in a heatwave, but I respect your right to twist my post around even though you know what I'm saying.

Personally, I prefer summer type weather, the longer the better, - wherever it is. But...NH is an absolutely gorgeous state and I've known a good amount of MA folks myself who have moved, or are planning to, to NH. I took a mini vaca up to Lisbon and the Franconia Notch area (co-worker friend and her husband own a place up there they are planning on moving to for good) and I fell in love with the area so much, I almost forgot how much I want to move south, lol

We are stuck in a reverse west wind flow again so no chance of rain for me for days.

The seabreezes have clashed again and now we are getting dumped on over here in Palm Harbor. Heavy rains and lots of wind.

Loving not having to water the lawn or fill the pool. JMO of course.
