Saw one store that had them 6 for $2. found them for 4 for $1. So sweet then don't even need butter, just a little salt.

I hear ya! I also found another way to cook it which is quicker, less messy, and DELICIOUS: leave the husks on, rinse them, (some people say to cut off the exposed silk threads, others say pull them out, I don't bother), throw them in the microwave (my little, 700 watt microwave takes 6 minutes for two) and taste the sweetest corn ever! I put an ear on a big plate and peel back about a 1 inch strip. The threads go with the husk - no picking them off!- and leaving the rest of the husk on until I pull off the next strip keeps the corn hot.

Now, you've done it: I have to go buy some more! :-))

And I agree with you, so sweet and good, doesn't need butter; I don't even use salt with this fresh crop.
