Detroit has just gone bankrupt, and many other "liberal" cities in the North appear to be succumbing to the same faith. The same people that ruined those cities with insane taxes and policies are now fleeing for "greener pastures" so to speak which includes Florida. You can already see the political shift in the last Presidential election. Do you think eventually the influx of people form these "Blue" states will eventually ruin Florida?

My answer is yes.

I guess its time for you to move Red, Not sure where you could go as by your rational the whole country is f...ed, perhaps immigration to a country where they only allow rightwing conservatives and none of those dastardly country ruining Liberals. I'm having a hard time coming up with a suggestion, maybe others that are more worldly travelers can come up with something..

I'm pretty some of the strongest economies in the country are found in EXTREMELY liberal states/cities.

With exception to Texas, the econominies in the south are struggling, and Florida is no exception. The poorest states in the country can be found in the southeast US. Many other sunbelt states are struggling too, even out west.

I'm talking about when compared to some of the A+ economies right now, most of which happen to be liberal areas:
Seattle
San Francisco
Research Triangle NC (somewhat liberal area in a conservative state)
Boston
NY/NJ
Maryland/DC
