Crap, I meant to check to allow more than one answer and instead made it public. I also forgot St. Petersburg. Oh well.
I will wait until the can fix the poll before I vote.

My pick is Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Out of all of Florida I would guess these two have more jobs than the others (I am assuming here, could be wrong).

You can still find things to do in those areas too (I wider selection of things to do over the other places mentioned).

If I had it to do over again, I'd pick Jacksonville, then Tampa, then Orlando, the St Pete....none of the rest.

You actually think it would be hotter closer to the water? Now, it might just be a little more humid if the breeze is onshore.

I never said Jacksonville wasn't clean. It is just my opinion that Tampa is a little cleaner.. In fact, I add Jacksonville to places where I would live. Mandarin is nice, the St. Johns is beautiful, and well...I would say Orlando is the only one where I wouldn't live. Even Miami has Miami Beach and Coral Gables/South Miami!

I was trying to name areas with over a million people in their respective county of metro area. Maybe I can do a best mid-sized city thread?

It's Houston-like man. Not nearly as bad actually, but it's a different feeling from other areas of the state. More polluted than other areas as well although it's still not bad.

I guess I'm the only one here who didn't know how to respond to the poll. Pick for WHAT? If for living, then for me it's Jax, that's why I live here. But I might pick a different city for something else. Like Miami for night life, Tampa for boating? Blah blah blah.
