Yea that sucks but not a surprise.

I have been feeling it for a little while. It would be nice if taxes dropped as fast as the prices have dropped. I find that and insurance the biggest killer. Gas a distant 3rd.

Another reason Florida housing has a long way to fall. A lot of increasing day to day expenses are taking money away from what buyers can afford to spend for principle and interest.

Add in the property taxes, insurance, and tighter lending standards and we have the recipe for housing to drop a heck of a lot further over the next 5 years.

Even this is a lie. Anyone who can do percentages in his head and observes everyday reality knows that inflation for what real human beings actually need (e.g. food, energy, housing, medical care, education, housing insurance, property taxes), over the past few years has been upwards of 10%, but conveniently the official inflation statistics leave out the things that real human beings actually need and include a bunch of superficial junk.
