Default New found treasures

I know what you mean! I just purchased Microsoft Office 2007 Professional (unopened) for $20 and a Breadman machine (used twice) for $8. Retail on the two items is at least $550.

I used to love yard sales, but now most are just clothes and household stuff. The old tools, books, and antiques have become scarce. Still I am often surprised by what ends up in a yard sale, and prices are open to negotiation. Selling stuff in your garage or yard is a right I hope that local governments do not keep taking away. It is the free market at its best.

You never know, I bought three Jacob's chucks for $1.00 a piece at a sale where all they had other then that was kids toys and clothes. I use to never stop at those sales but you just never know. Saturday I bought ventriloquist dummy. An old one like Paul Winchell used. I looked on the net when I got home and they go for in the hundreds and some in the thousands, very collectable. I paid $35.00 for it and this was like 2 o'clock in the afternoon. All day no one bought this thing. They were asking $50 and I said $35. and got it.
