Floridans think their S---- doesn't stink and the entire county, and WORLD, are jealous of you and would move here if they weren't lazy b-----. This attitude galls me. No, darlings, you aren't the be and end all of the UNIVERSE. This is one reason I never watch local news, and especiallys, WEATHER forecats during the Winter.

*********, Floridians.

NYS is full of **** when it comes to so called progressive politics. Gays can marry, big deal. Most of the gay men in NYC historically worked in retail, salons, and other low wage jobs. Many have gotten priced out of NYC. In Bloomberg's new glorified NYC, many gay bars have gone out of business.

A market rate studio in many areas of Manhattan is under 3k. So basically poor and even middle class people need not apply.

And this is somehow progress?

Boston snobbery yes for sure, out where I am not so much(western MA) and without a doubt there are many NY'ers that think NY is the end of the earth. I USED to know a couple in perticular. If there is snobbery in FL, most likely they came from up here.... Sad but true.

Listen up people.

My people, New Yorkers, were the ones that turned that swamp into a livable hunk of land back in the day.

I'll give you the benefit of doubt since you need to be ancient like me to remember.

I'll accept your apologies now that you have been enlightened.

I'll be leaving for Arizona soon but maybe I'll hang a left just to check out the state that should have "Made in New York" as a state motto.

I won't see that until April. In FL it's the summer I wasn't so happy with, but after the last few days I know heat isn't painful like this cold.

There is NO perfect place. Only you can make your own perfect place.
It must be terrible for you to be up in these frigid temperatures. You must spend a awful lot of time indoors.

Facts are incorrect.

Midwesterners spending their money built Florida and kept it going and still do today for the most part.

Sure many leave NY to live in Florida but they surely did not bring much other then an attitude with them.

When my father in law looked at land here in the late 50s he talked of people from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pa, Kentucky buying up land all over Florida and never once mentioned anyone from NY buying anything.

If NY is so great why do so many leave it for Florida?

Why do members here owe you an apology?

LOL Made in NY.

Yep I do unless I'm doing snow removal. No choice.
