Another thing.....next to Texas, Florida is the next largest cattle ranch area so beef bbqs etc. are pretty native.

Also wild hogs cooked in a pit for a whole day.....yummy Florida food.

And the only time I ever baked a lemon pie was here in Florida after I picked the lemons myself.

There use to be a town called "Rattlesnake, FL." w/ its own post office and rattlesnake canning plant in what's now considered Tampa, it was on the east side of the Gandy bridge near West shore.

There also use to be an annual Rattlesnake Festival in San Antonio (Pasco County), up until just a few years ago.
