Breaking News and Opinion on The Huffington Post again big business is more important to Lord Voldemort and the buffoons in the legislature than the environment.
You know if there isn't a livable planet, business won't exist right?

Your link didn't come through but this is what I think you were trying to post...
Rick Scott Administration Accused Of Not Enforcing Environment Protection Standards

Here's another article that addresses this specific issue..

It's not at all surprising given who's "best interests" Scott and the State Legislature at large seems to be working for, which isn't the vast majority of Florida residents.

Cannot wait to see how hypocritical people with no minds will vote for Charlie Criss after whining about him for years when he was a "fake" on the other side.

Which way do you want it op?

On one hand people complain when the EPA steps in and goes overboard like they did in South Carolina when they were ordered to screw over the new Boeing plant with bogus claims of caring about our environment and now you complain because of this.

How about somewhere in the middle?

Exactly!

A candidate can hold certain views and will be hated for them if they are in one party, but loved if he is in the other party. Most voters are ignorant.

Uncle Charlie claimed to be there too. He claims everything.

Not surprising. Remember that Scott was the guy effectively willing to sell off state parks to the highest bidder.

I actually liked Crist first time around, and he'd be a huge improvement for most Floridians over Scott.

I agree but that's so un-American.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice the environment to help the economy. Doing things in the name of preserving the economy can sometimes be job-killing.

Save for the Tea Party in 2010, Florida has been a pretty centrist state the past 20 years, and Crist, who won his 2006 primary as the more moderate option, was a perfectly logical pick following the slightly left of center Lawton Chiles and the slightly right of center Jeb!.

Go back and look up Jeb!'s quite good record on conservation and land preservation issues and compare them to Rick Scott, and it's a world of difference. While I'm a lefty who disagreed with Jeb! in a lot of ways, I feel like he actually did some good for the state. The current regime? Expensive lawsuits that they knew they were going to lose and laughing stocks.
