Which ice cap would you be referring to as doubling in size? , certainly cant be the Arctic ice cap as theres so much melting ice up there that they are considering opening up the Northwest passage as an alternate summer shipping route to shortcut the panama canal.

This rising sea level nonsense never seems to go away does it? When I was in elementary school the media was convinced we were heading for another ice age. The global warming nuts seem to forget that while water expands when warmer, it also evaporates. More clouds mean less sunlight, less heat.

Sorry about that. It was only a 60% increase in size from August 2012 to August 2013. The ice and temperatures have fluctuated throughout history. Most global warming fanatics look at a short period of the earth's history rather than over thousands of years. They paint the picture they want you to see.

Scientists should co-ordinate their predictions. Last night while watching an episode of 'how the earth works' the show was about the last ice age 11,000 years ago. Because of the elliptical orbit of the earth, they predict that there will be another ice age in 1500 years. So far- cities under water, then they will be covered in ice, then the sun will burn out.
