Default Relocating to Florida from New Orleans

My husband has accepted a job in Destin and we are so excited to start over and in such a beautiful place. We were there twice this Summer, with our son and some friends. I have been researching all these rental sites, but not having much luck. I don't want to spend more than $1100.00 and would really like a Third bedroom, and also something close to the beach. I mapquested alot of these properties and google earth them and I can't really tell how far from the beach they are. I checked out Cayo Grande of Navarre and also of FWB, Chez Elan, Indian Lake, & Pointe of View just to name a few. If any can help I would greatly appreciate it. We plan to move right before Christmas. Anywhere from Pensacola to Miramar Beach is what we are looking for.
Also, currently my son is in Catholic school, and I was told that they have some really good public schools in the area, maybe any advice or where I can get that information.

Thanks,
Jami P.
