Interesting article in the Sun today and the Orlando Sentinel re: infamous speed trap on 301. Apparently, an audit showed up so many irregularities, the state threatened to with hold sales tax revenues.
The entire city hall staff including the police force resigned. So, no more Hampton with dissolution of the charter on the horizon. The speed trap was discussed on this forum some weeks ago so this could be somewhat of an update. What do you all think? We have driven through the area many times and no ticket; lucky I guess.

Which speed trap in particular as i look at the entire 301 from I-10 to Ocala as one big speed trap, with notable mentions to Waldo,Lawtey,Hawthorne and Starke..
