Hi!

My roommate and I are moving to Port Orange in September and are looking for apartments or houses to rent. There are a TON of apartment complexes to choose from. I was wondering if anyone has any input on the best places to live in or near port orange. We aren't opposed to looking in near by areas like new smyrna, daytona, ormond etc. I'm from PA and she's from NC so we are both pretty lost in this whole apartment hunt. Any help is much appreciated!

Lisa

I think it's most important in looking for a place to state what your interests and lifestyle are (i.e. near specific shopping, churches, interstate, airport, beach, etc.) Some people like jogging or walking nearby -- or play sports or need a gym. A dog park. Yoga classes. Great pizza nearby.

Also add some things you don't want based on what you've found out from where you live now.

That would be a start!

Work through a local realtor. There are condos for rent and they might be a better deal.
