I politely asked for no comments on our sleeping arrangements. You don't know me. You don't know my girls. You don't know whether or not we are seeing a counselor. But we are - and the counselor is actually supportive of the move. She does know me and understands my need for change. I already own the house in Fl. My husband and I were planning to move before he passed. My girls hate air mattresses. They sleep on piles of blankets - on carpet - and my teen frequently goes to her own room, all by choice.

I will assume you had good intentions.

I'm the mom, by the way.

I wouldn't doubt they choose it because there isn't more than one bed in there and they still need the security.
What's all the talk about CPS anyway? Why or by whom would a report even go in to CPS?
Additionally, as to anything that might bite them. IF it was a problem, whatever it was it can crawl up a bed leg as well as crawl across the floor.

I don't like seeing an anolis (lizard)inside because every once in awhile, one doesn't find it's way back out and didn't find enough to live on.
I know, it's sad to find a dead dried out lizard inside that didn't make it. I've always done my best to try and catch those lizards that find their way into the house, and put them back outside. It's not always possible, though, if they're faster than I am.
