Anyone know of welding jobs in Florida? I have spent the last 10 years in heavy industrial, but now I am looking to move on to light gauge (preferably in TIG) work. I recently returned home to South Dakota from a week long vacation in Orlando, and decided Florida may be the ideal spot to relocate. I am not married and have no children, so it would only be myself. I am skilled in mild steel, aluminum, and stainless. I am not keen on living in the bigger cities such as Miami or Jacksonville, but I have no reservations if I have to commute a little bit from a smaller neighboring town. Thank you for the input!

Jacksonville has a number of options including the shipyard. Jacksonville is the smallest "big city" in Florida and least dense so you can find plenty of housing options close to work but in more small town or rural settings.

Jacksonville Florida Welding jobs???
