Cities Journal names Daytona Beach as one of the Top 16 small cities in Florida to live in :
Top 16 Small Cities In Florida | Cities Journal

Lot of areas touted by posts on C-D didn't make it on this list.

Hmmmm...

Wow- some of the towns are a bit surprising to me. Some I wouldn't consider "small towns" either (WPB, Ft Myers, Daytona Bch).

No Oviedo? Winter Springs? Lake Mary? St Auggy? Cedar Key? Green Cove Springs? Ponte Vedra Bch?

This is beyond nuts. Daytona Beach??? Riff raff central? You have to wonder how much they paid somebody to put this thing together. All I can say, and I live minutes from Daytona, is that if it's the best city I sure would hate to see the worst!

Isn't sticking to facts and backing up statements (like in the TOS) great?

I guess if I lived in the city of South Daytona I'd be upset too with all the quality amenities offered there: trailer parks, meth labs, murders, domestic violence, mini marts, pickup repair, sex offenders and retired hookers/jailbirds.

I guess the next step up would be to move to Holly Hill.

There are many useful medical offices in Daytona Beach including opthamologists, gerontologists and psychologists.

Yes, because clearly whoever wrote this "article" has such a deep understanding of Florida with their quotes from Wikipedia.

Melbourne is roughly the same size as Daytona and would blow it out of the water for that type of comparison. This survey is ridiculous

That was one of the most ridiculous lists I've seen yet. Not really just because of Daytona, but the crazy comparisons (or I should say NO comparison) of some of the cities on that list.

I don't care about any of these lists anyway, they are pretty meaningless. I doubt that person has ever even been to Florida.

Does WPB really qualify as small? Even the Sebring METRO has less people than the city of WPB.
