Daytona/Deltona??? Of all the places in Florida I sure as heck wouldn't choose that for retirement with so many other much more viable (and pleasant) options out there.

Deltona. No way. Planned community gone wrong.

John D. Rockefeller built a hotel and established his winter residence in Ormond after sending scientists all over the world to discover the healthiest place in the world to live was Ormond Beach.

Who are we to argue?

AARP is grouping Deltona with Daytona and Ormond Beach? What's next? Boynton Beach and Belle Glade? Marco Island and Immokalee?

I don't see why not. It's cheap, many safe and beautiful places, and plenty of beach bars to go to. People that don't live here are irrelevant to the conversation.
