Hahahaahahahaaha.
The fact is folks, that you suffer a LOT more health hazards living near a fossil fuel burning power plant than you ever do next to a nuclear plant.
But I wonder... people complain of "nothing much to do".... what IS it that you "do" ANYWHERE outside of the big cities in Florida that's so amazing? |

Woman, 8-year-old girl found dead outside Boca Raton Mall
Terrible, what is the world coming to? Lately there has been a lot of crime in the south county area, many of the criminals when apprehended usually are from Dade.

We see this stuff in Jax too. The world is going you know where in you know what. It's appauling what is happening everywhere these days. No one has any conviction, conscience or morals anymore. That's why I laugh when people say don't move to FL b/c of the crime.....tell me one place besides Mayberry that doesn't have crime anymore.  |

What happens next...where does it happen next...and where do we go to escape it...
The only murder-robbery I have heard of here was that one in east Sunrise. I wonder when the first one will happen at one of our shopping malls...

This is the 2nd incident where someone was killed, a while ago some woman was last seen leaving the same mall on surveillance video, only to be found dead at a park in Delray Beach (after witnesses saw her shot and kickd out of the car), her Mercedes Benz was found abandoned at a Home Depot nearby. Police questioned the husband but that's the last I heard of it. No-one has been charged, caught or proven guilty. I wonder if she wasn't car jacked, the Mall Boca Town Center is very upscale, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany, Louis Vuitton and so on..you wouldn't expect it but it's a place noted as a gathering point for people who have money.

Truly, you don't hear about them b/c the news in the touristy parts of Florida will not put it on unless it is very very bad. They can't put al murders etc on the news or there will be no more tourists. That is why we laugh, b/c in Jax (no tourists) they have every single solitary murder that happens on the morning and evening news. Every prostitute who was shot, every drug dealer who was shot, every child who is dead etc. We call it our morning dose of Jax murder to get us through the day.
No where to escape. You just have to be smart. You'll never know when it will happen, but do what you can to protect yourself from violent crime. It may still rear it's ugly head, but that is life these days...there is only so much you can do.
