Palm Coast is actually very far from Palm Beach county

I am a Flight Attendant who was Laying over at that Dump of a Hotel.. Ramada Inn on the Highway across from Publix, I went to Bed about 11Pm, woke up around 3:15am because someone Shot out My Hotel Window! Yeah.... Real Safe Florida is. I live in Saint Cloud, but from Monmouth County NJ, and nothing like that has ever happened to Me. I was told by the Ft. Myers Police that they now have a problem with Gang Activity in that Area. Florida...... HMMMMMM Don't Understand it!

Its not the Florida it was. It the past 2 years crime has gone wild.

Where in Florida is there the least amount of gang activity/presence?

Urban or rural? The panhandle counties probably have the least gang activity overall. For the urban areas, Broward County has a confirmed 28 gangs versus anywhere from 40 to 150 gangs in Florida's other urban counties, so I guess that makes it the lowest.

I am applying for a position at the West Palm Beach Marriott Hotel. I have not been to the area which makes it tough. I understand that it is near city place and the convention centre. I would like to know the following -
- What are the main businesses in the area that you think would bring business to the hotel?
- What major hotels are in the area that woud be a competitor?
- What is the general opinion of the hotel (luxury/new/rundown/expensive/popular etc)

What is the immediate area like - is it of a good standard?

Any other info you may think appropriate.
